Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens)
Cypress essential oil is primarily used to benefit the lymphatic system, which is responsible for the removal of toxins from our bodies. Cypress oil has the ability to stimulate the lymphatic drainage and can help to flush out toxins and the build-up of impurities when the lymphatic system is inefficient due to lifestyle habits.
The Cypress essential oil is packed with antiseptic properties, therefore great for a thorough cleanse, deeply penetrating pores, excellent for blemish breakouts. While also a powerful astringent, Cypress can be used to provide a toning effect on the skin to keep complexion tight, lifted and bouncy.
Diffuse the herbaceous-scented oil throughout your home to encourage peace, harmony, and serenity. The oil is also commonly found in skin care blends. Apply to oily skin or add Cypress Essential Oil to a foot soak or bath.
