If you’ve ever thought of blending essential oils for a new fragrance or for therapeutic uses, you might have been overwhelmed with the availability of so many essential oils and the combinations they can produce!
While there are so many classic pairings, you can always experiment to find the right blend that will heal you and has a wonderful aroma. Just remember that when it comes to blending essential oils, less is more.
You should also consider the effect you’re aiming for and the individual properties of each oil you use so that they don’t clash with your goals. For example, avoid stimulating oils like peppermint or tea tree oil when you are blending essential oils to promote sleep.
If you are in a DIY (read ‘mad scientist’) mood to create blends for particular therapeutic reasons, we’ve put together 6 essential oil rollerball recipes for you to easily create for your diffuser.
